This being the comet season I have a question about Verne's comet book
called "Off on a Comet" in english and "Hector Servedac" in french. Why
the difference? While in New York last week I encountered a reception of
the Explorer's Club, I believe for Buzz Aldrin. At the entrance was a
billboard for a movie entitled "Collision with Telos", an Arthur C.
Clarke film starring Buzz Aldrin. Could this be amovie version of "Off on
a Comet"? Does anyone know the url of the Internet Movie Database
mentioned by B. Taves, to look up this film?
Also with regard to "The Purchase of the North Pole" this is called
"Sans dessus Dessous" in french. Does anyone know what the french words
mean? a pun?
