I have just bought the book "A Unknown World. Two Years in the Moon" by Pierre de Sélènes, with illustrations by Gerlier, translated to Spanish by Enrique Leopoldo de Verneuill, printed in Barcelona by Montaner y Simón Editores, 1898. The reason of the purchase was not the price ($5), but the fact that in the first pages the next appeared: an advertisement in an american newspaper of the auction sale for bankrupcy of the National Society of Interplanetary Comunications, including the huge cannon named "Columbiad", the projectile that carried the famous travelers Barbicane, Nicholl and Michel Ardan, December 4 186.., the sheds and buildings, and the devices and machines, et al, at the price of 200,000 dollars.
After reading some chapters I can say the story (based in 188...) is about two Frenchmen and an Englishman that buy those things, repeat the launching and, in this case, they do arrived in the Moon. There they find, under the surface, in a huge cave, an utopian society, whose description take a number of chapters; everyone is a good person, they are advanced in technology, they don't have to eat (!).
The point I reach they are trying to communicate with the Earth.
In short I think it's a book well written.
My question: is this book known enough?; does the author (Pierre de Sélènes) use a pseudonim?
Are there other sequels of Jules Verne's books?

"Kod feci"

Acabo de adquirir el libro "Un mundo desconocido. Dos años en la Luna" de Pierre de Sélènes, con ilustraciones de Gerlier, traducción al español de Enrique Leopoldo de Verneuill, impreso en Barcelona por Montaner y Simón Editores, 1898. Lo que motivó la compra no fue el precio ($5) sino el hecho de que en las primeras páginas aparece un anuncio en un diario norteamericano de la venta en subasta por quiebra de la Sociedad Nacional de Comunicaciones Interestelares, comprendiendo el cañón gigantesco llamado "Columbiad", el proyectil que llevó a los célebres viajeros Barbicane, Nicholl y Miguel Ardan, el 4 de diciembre de 186.., los cobertizos y construcciones, y los aparatos y demás elementos, al precio de 200.000 dólares.
Tras leer algunos capítulos puedo decir que la historia (que transcurre en 188..) es acerca de dos franceses y un inglés que compran aquellos elementos, repiten el lanzamiento y, en este caso, sí llegan a la Luna. Allí encuentran, bajo la superficie, en una cueva gigantesca, una sociedad utópica, cuya descripción ocupa varias capítulos; todas las personas son buenas, están más avanzados tecnológicamente, no necesitan comer (!).
En el punto al que llegué están tratando de comunicarse con la Tierra.
En definitiva, parece un libro bien escrito.
Mi pregunta es qué tan conocido es este libro; ¿el autor (Pierre de Sélènes) utiliza un seudónimo?
¿Qué otras continuaciones de libros de Julio Verne hay?
