Checking what few references I have in my files to your book, I
suspect that de Verneuill may in fact be the author (although the
"Verne" in his name makes me half wonder if even that may be a
pseudonym). I suspect this because I have never run across a
reference to this book in any language other than Spanish . . . there
may never have been a French original.
