I have an early copy of "The Cryptogram" which I can't put a date to. The
publisher is Sampsom, Low Marston and Co . The cover picture has two men
dueling with knives on the edge of a cliff. The title is written diagonally
starting in the lower left. The spine has a picture of an underwater diver
holding a spear.
There are 37 illustrations in the book. The edges of the paper do not have
gilt. I have checked the JV Encyclopedia but can't find a date from there.
Can anyone help me put a date to the book ?
