In the 1970s, Ridderhof published a couple of paperbacks in Dutch: Begum,
Village aerien, and Barsac. These editions included a preface by I.O.
Evans. I suspect these were translated from English, but I'm not certain
about that.

Outside the JV domain, there are many translations of translations, of
course: Greek -> Arabic -> Latin -> ... for many philosophic/mathematic
works, for example.
