Yes, a lot. Most of the so called "posthumous novels" (see the
excellent Zvi site,/“The complete JV bibliography”) may be considered
as unfinished (even if most of the ms. were publishable and even
further published by the Société JV) because JV use to proof-read a lot
(2-3 times ...) and even re-write entire parts of the novels during the
publication process. Among the unpublished ms. found at his death, "Un
voyage d'étude" published further by his son Michel after completion
("Mission Barsac") was really unfinished and unpublishable (only 2 or 3
chapters were written).
