So more information. Badoureau seems to have been a regular
collaborator of JV. He also revised the manuscript of Robur (note for
letter 4/8/1885_ Correspondance III) and, beside checking the maths,
suggested style changes that were accepted by JV ! The Badoureau ms.
are at the Bibliothèque of Nantes (Dekiss, JV l'anchanteur, p 290)
