This is the Emile L... who is mentioned as the third companion in
"Joyeuses miseres de trois voyageurs en Scandinavie".
From the first chapter of this novel, the only part that is known, I don't
understand the "miseres" in the title. Perhaps Peter will find out more
during his research!
