Has anyone learned more about this? Certainly, for those of us travelling from afar, knowing whether or not a sports jacket will do, or if something more formal is required, will influence how we pack our suitcases (!)

This seems to me a splendid idea. Many critical texts re. Verne are out of print or difficult to acquire, and of course collectors will want every chance to purchase editions they do not now own. Such a market might be difficult to arrange in terms of local and national (and international?) taxation. In my experience, this is one of the thorniest problems of bringing third-party vendors into a conference setting.
