february, has a section "Les enfants de Jules Verne" pp. 18-
29, in which a number of specialists (journalists, baloonists,
broadcasters etc) explain what reading Verne meant to them,
each brief contribution being illustrated with appropriate
images. A second section, "Jules Verne Le Passeur de
sciences" discusses him as a scientific polymath. The
L'Express web site "contains an exhaustive listing with

2. A nice memorabilium is a two-sided calendar for 2005 on
solid card (of the type distributed in France at Christmas by
postmen and fire service in return for a Christmas tip) has
been produced by;
La Librairie Jules Verne, 7 rue Lagrange, 75005 Paris. It is in
full colour and is surrounded by familiar scenes from Verne,
cartonnages etc The artist is Roland Munnier and his work is
very decorative...dimensions 27 x 21 cms.
