It breaks my heart that force majeure kept me from attending this year's
NAJVS meeting - and that an apparent computer glitch at Norfolk kept the
paper I had intended to read from arriving in any case. But hopefully I will
meet my JV friends at next year's meeting.
One request at this time, however: I wonder whether Verne's stage version of
Autour du monde en 80 jours is available on- line. I have heard such varying
estimates of the play's merits that I'm interested in finding out for
myself. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
