Eclipse ALERT!!!!

Right, who said eclipses!

I'm a bit of a whiz on the eclipse front. What type of eclipse are we
looking for in those years and in what part of the world?

  We should examine the almanacs for 1860, 1886 and 1896 to see which
eclipses occured and where. Most likely this would result in the uncovery
of additional inconsistencies. I believe that there is a cycle in which
eclipses occur. I have a vague recollection that it is something like 235
years but it would not occur in the same place.
