Dear friends,
Sailing on a pleasure yacht in the Irish sea is one thing, being passenger
on a super big liner an other one.
I have answered only from the yachting point of view, and i confirm that,
from his personnal notesbook, Jules has never been in Ireland, neither in
the irish sea.
( I add that even during the scottish expedition, the St Michel III sailed
on the East coast only).
Considering the Great Eastern adventure, the only way to affirm some thing
based on real source is to read the notes book Jules took on the liner.
So, as the general meeting of the CIJV will be on the next 13 of march, i
will have a look in the carnets at the Amiens Library.
I will keep you inform if there was any call or stop-over at Queenstown.
Best regards
Ph. Valetoux
