Thanks for your comment.

Firstly, this proves that the French Wikipedia (and the others...) is in fact the English Wikipedia translated.

Now I see in several dictionaries
  Pont aux ânes: En partic. Théorème de Pythagore.

  Pont aux ânes (pons asinorum) : démonstration mathématique que tout le monde devrait connaître. Nom donné au XVIIIème siècle par les étudiants au théorème du carré de l'hypoténuse (théorème de Pythagore).
