This is great, as it is now 150 years ago he went to this journey in Scandinavia.
Now I do know why there aren't any great novels like Jules Verne's anymore: he had weeks to travel from Stockholm to Gausta Mountain - myself only need less than 15 hours by car. Weeks of wonderful impressions beats the way we travel today. Eventhough he had a lot of armchair traveling when writing his novels, the journey itself was important in the novel.
