Hi Dennis,

Because of budget cutbacks and delays, Wesleyan has decided to abandon this
project. It is, however, still planning to publish the first English
translation of Verne's Bourses de voyage (Travel Scholarships) in the next
year or so, with critical materials by Volker Dehs.

Thanks, Chris, for the info. Since you note that it's close to the Sampson
Low, I wonder if it's simply a revision rather than a fresh translation.

Rick - I'm about a third of the way through Ed's translation - and so far it
is very well written.

 

I have the Sampson Lowe edition for comparison - and I'm not seeing too much
that is different
