Dear Friends,

I am really annoyed by the recent message by `zig1111~at~aol.com'. I thought a lot
wether to put it in the archive at all, and couldn't decide on it. I don't know
what `zig' was referring to in the message, and it just left us with bad taste.
I hate censorship in general, and I always hope people will stay within the
limits of acceptable language without forcing them to do so. I always quote the
saying (from Bambi)

        ``If you can't say somethin' nice, don't say nothin' at all.''

but I am not in the habit of forcing people to follow me.

About our list, I can shield us from such behaviour by first disallowing
postings for non-members, and then I can manually remove subscribers who don't
indentify themselves, have really nothing to say - but still send ``bombs'' to
the list.

I would happy to hear from you about your views about the subject, although it
is so non-vernian. I would be happy if `zig1111~at~aol.com' will just identify
him/herself and stick to verninan discussions in the future, as all of us do.
