Indeed, this connection is mentioned in practically every travel guide.
But a friend of mine has made a trip to Iceland lately, and I asked him if
he could buy me an Icelandish 'Voyage au centre'. That was really hard to
find, and all he could get me was a comic version.
What was that remark of Axel about Icelanders reading so much?
