When in high school I used to go to the library every Saturday to take out
JV books. Many of them were stamped "juvenile" and I was told by the
librarian I was not "juvenile" enough to take them out. Juvenile books were
reserved for children to read. It was with some difficulty I was eventually
allowed access. I was disturbed when I discovered some mathematical
innacuracies--which I have now learned were the fault of the translator.

You are probably not the yougest Jules Verne reader here. I'm 15 years
old and I really like Verne. The books of Verne are considerated to be
for children, but I think they are for the people who wants to stay
young, to keep their imagination working and to continue to be
astonished by the marvelous world in the one we are living.
