I'm not a member of your forum, but since I'm interested in the early days
of transatlantic navigation, I wondered if you knew whether Jules Verne
actually sailed on the "Great Eastern" (Une Ville flottante) and when, or
if he was connected to this ship in any other way.
I'd mostly appreciate if you could share this information by e-mailing me.
