This is actually a ca. 90 min. feature version for theatrical
distribution, cut down from a television mini-series that lasted 5-6
hours, as I recall. The feature is a very interesting version of the
novel, and I suspect the mini-series, if ever shown again, could prove to
be one of the best films of the story.
