I suspect so. Your date regarding Sheridan's death is correct (1816 not
1814). I regret that the only reference I have in my library is in F.
Stainforth's edition of the works of Richard Brinsley Sheridan published by
Chatto and Windus, Piccadilly, in 1874. On page 82 he says:

On the following Saturday the funeral took place; - his remains having been
previously removed from Savile Row to the house of his frined, Mr. Peter
Moore, in Great George Street....

Sheridan, who was an eloquent speech writer (his speeches are in the above
volume as well) and a brillant dramatist, was very powerfull in his
opposition to the British war against the American colonies and in his
support for the new French Republic. He was deadly in his attack on the
colonial administrator Warren Hastings. Naturally he died in extreme
poverty; in fact if it was not for the intervention of his doctor Sheridan
would have been arrested for his debts on his death bed. His funeral was
quite spectacular befitting the irony of his life.
