My experience so far with the CD-ROM is this.
It is Titled "Jules Verne Legacy" as Davor says, and also "Jules Verne
Voyages Extraordinaires".
It is in French.
You must be in 256 colour mode to use it, and can use win3.1 or win95

Part of the functionality is to give you the ability to capture text and
store on your hard-drive, and even though it ways it is storing the
information, when you look at the stored file it is empty. (you do not have
the ability to cut and past without the programs "help".
There is an "encyclopedia type section" with a very rough index, that has
text passages on various subject related to Verne, and they are generally 1
- 4 pages long (small pages).
The CD-ROM has a section for each novel and each play. but what this
"section" consists of, is a series of animated images, that you must click
on after the animation to progress through the basics of the story (with
narration)
At the end of the animation, there is an "information section on the book
etc that may include some images from the book, or some "trivia" type
information, but this information is very limited.

The cd-ROM, does NOT contain the text of all the stories, or all the images
from the stories as I had hoped it might.

Also as Davor says, it is impossible to "store"any of the images. I can't
find them on the CD. They are "hidden" in the files.

The animation is run using "Apple Quick Time for windows".

It IS interesting, but I am disappointed, especially with the index.
When I went to compose my message, re the Family tree, I had a hard time
finding the page with the information that I had found previously.
It could have made it a better resource with a better more comprehensive index.

PS By the way, the date of birth of Michel's second wife Jeanne, is 1867,
as indicated in the Martin book, and not the transposed 1876 that the
CD-ROM indicates (proof readers, where were you!)
