Andrew and Davor, all you write about these 3 CDs is correct. Let me add
some more information to explain why you can have difficulties to use them
on two levels : the external from (the way they were produced and the way
you can - or cannot - use them) and the contents (how reliable and accurate
the information is).

JV's grand-grand-son, Jean Verne, was dreaming since many years to make
CD-ROMs which would be the "nec plus ultra" knowledge of the vernian side of
this planet. But no money, no sponsors... The project was delayed, even the
Societe JV in France postponed (for the first time in its history) its
Annual Meeting from Spring to Fall, believing in what Jean Verne was saying.

Even if scholars like Piero are cited and mentioned, they were not part of
the project. And the result is something far from accurate or complete, and
far from usable as everybody could expect.

The problem is that these CDs are carrying the name of Verne and that
nothing else is available on similar media. My suggestion is to cross-check
any information from these CDs before using it (if you get to it !).
