Alleged Death of Anthony Bonner

On Nov.4 '99 I asked the forum for biographical information on Anthony
Bonner, translator of Bantam's 1962 paperback of Verne's 20,000 LEAGUES
UNDER THE SEA. Since then I've learned a number of things about him,
including information on his birth (NYC, 1928).

However, two days after my original query, Mr.Josep-Lluis Aguilo emailed
the JV Forum with the news that "Antony Bonner is dead." (SEE BELOW.)

I've received no further information about this from Mr. Aguillo, even
though I sent email requests to his personal address (NOT via the JV Forum)
on Nov. 8, Nov. 22, and Dec. 2. I'm concerned that somehow I'm not reaching
him, so I'm trying again on the Forum.

Essentially I'm trying to confirm whether or not Anthony Bonner actually IS
dead, and if so, WHEN he died.

Mr. Aguilo, if you read this, please respond on the Forum and let me know
whether or not you received my earlier emails to you. If not, I'll re-send
them. If so, I'd be very grateful for more information from you.

Antony Bonner is dead. Some years ago. I live in Mallorca and i know some
things of his life like he has traduced the Bagavad Ghita and much more
indian texts and that he was related to the Beatles during his oriental
phase. I will try to find something More about this man and if you are
interested i will post it.
