Interviews with Jules Verne

Dear Friends,

Although today is the big Wednesday, when we are scheduled to go around the
worlds in 80 seconds, let me draw you attention to two new contributions to the
Jules Verne Virtual Library: These are two interviews with Jules Verne,
contributed by our good friend Art Evans: Jules Verne at Home, by Gordon Jones,

and A Visit to Jules Verne and Victorien Sardou, by Edmondo de Amicis

The former is an 1904 interview by an American journalist (we already had in
the Library a French translation by our friend Bill Butcher) and the latter is
an English translation of an 1897 interview by an Italian author.

I encourage you to read the interviews and enjoy them, I am sure you'll join me
in conveying our deep gratitude to Art for enriching our knowledge of Jules
Verne. Let me finish by greeting all our friends who celebrate these very days
and wishing them happy holidays, and let us pray we'll find the new millennium a
better time to live in.
