Dear Fogg friends,

I have done some additional research and have drawn the following conclusions:

1. according to server logs the first mail was sent at 16.30.01, and forwarded arrived back at 16.44.40. this leaves us with 14.39 minutes traveling time, ie 879 seconds. This must come as a deep disappointment, I gather.

2. some funny things happened on the way. I do not have all logs, but this is the picture: my mail took nearly 126 seconds to arrive at garmt, who is 40 kilometers away. with this we had already lost all hope to stay within 80 seconds, but fortunately did not know that. we then get to Svi and Swati in about 2 minutes, whis is great, the distance considered. But Swati has some trouble getting to the US, which takes his server nearly 8 minutes. We then pick up speed again and arrive within 2 minutes back in Amsterdam.

Still I think we have a world record.

Thank you for making it possible
