Project Gutenberg has someone religiously doing the Horne editions into
ascii text. It seems to me there was some question about this not being the
best of the public domain (before 1921) editions. Has obviously put a lot
of work into this corrected grammar, typos, spelling, quote marks, etc,
etc. Are there suggestions for the best PD versions? and how does one tell,
many don't list the xlator. See "Off on a comet" and "In Search of the
Castaways" on the JVF. Of course any version is better than no version.
But I believe th Dover version of Off on a Comet (and To the Sun) may have
been a better rendition. This book is however out of print and rather
pricey.
