Though highly abridged (perhaps your wife won't care), there is a
two-volume edition which was published more recently in the so-
called Fitzroy Edition and edited by I.O. Evans. The books were
published by Arco in the UK, and Associated Booksellers, Ace,
and recently by Amereon in the US. The titles for CHILDREN OF
CAPTAIN GRANT / IN SEARCH OF THE CASTAWAYS are:
THE MYSTERIOUS DOCUMENT
AMONG THE CANNIBALS
Both were originally published in 1964. Don't forget to check
Amazon in case Amereon editions are still available.
I have the Lippincott 1873 version in my collection, thanks to a
trade, and it is now part of two collections--my Verne collection
and a collection of books which inspired films and television
programs produced by the Walt Disney Company.
