All of this talk about good and bad translations made me wonder about
the consensus for the Fitzroy editions edited by I.O. Evans and pub-
lished in the 1960s. Granted these are much shorter than the originals
and could not possibly include much of Verne's humor or satire but how
do they fare as plot-driven adventure stories?

Along with early editions, I have collected these books for some time
and have a small web page which provides some information about the
editions though it is somewhat different in approach to Andrew Nash's
