Thanks, Jerry, for your comments. Your last sentence assumes that
every new (never published before) JV novel will be part of the series
"Voyages Extraordinaires". It is not the case. The collection
published under the generic title "Voyages Extraordinaires" (VEs) was
completed in 1919 with "Barsac". There are 64 titles in the series,
including the two volumes of short stories, Ox and "Hier et Demain".
The complete collection in in-8 illustrated double volumes (not the
"plaquettes") has 47 volumes. Titles like "L'Epave du Cynthia", "Paris
in the 20th Century", etc. are NOT part of the VEs. Besides of that,
Jerry, you raised a very good point : where is the sponsor, the
non-profit foundation funding the publication of the VEs for the first
time well translated ? (including the 4 novels not yet translated into
English).
