You should try reading "Maitre Zacharius". It's been a long time since I
read this short story, but I thing the theme is base on religion belief.

To anyone who might be interested in the topic of religion in the works of
Jules Verne,

I am currently studying French at university, and would be interested to
know of any texts which treat religion in Verne's work, especially in the
following texts:
Voyage au centre de la terre
De la terre a la lune
20 000 lieues sous les mers
80 days around the world
L'ile mysterieuse
If anyone coyld point me in the right direction, it would be very much
appreciated.

Thank-you.
