Ah, Aksutin's identification means the CAPT. GRANT in question is the 1980's
Russo-Bulgarian television miniseries, which if only for length is the most
faithful adaption to date. (Although it does add a new subplot of a gauchos
vs. Indians fight over a golden statue to the Patagonia segment, and change
the order of some of the Paganel incidents.) It is also of interest for using
a framing device of Verne describing his work in progress to such listeners
as Nadar or Hetzel, allowing for some in-jokes. (E.g. when Paganel is
introduced, Hetzel grumbles that another Eccentric Professor will just remind
people of JOURNEY TO CENTER's Lindenbrook.)
