Dear friends,

You already heard about Jules Verne Festival in Dinard, which opens at 24th
of June. I'd like to ask how you imagine such an event? Do some of you
participate in programs? Do some of you plan to come? For our over-atlantic
friends: if some of you will come to visit Festival in Dinard, could it be
possible for you to to visit Pazin also?

Our Club is invited to the Festival, some of our exhibits will be exposed,
but we cannot be present in Dinard at the opening festivity, because of our
own Jules Verne Day which will take place at 25th of June (Sunday). We plan
to visit Dinard about a week after opening, around begining of July. Can we
meet there with some of you?

If this is not too enthusiastic, and if there's anough time to consider
that, could it be possible to organize in Dinard, during the Festival, some
official meeting of 4 known Vernian societies (SJV, NAJVS, Dutch JVG, and
our Jules Verne Club from Pazin)? Could we establish some kind of World
(Con)Federation of JV societies, and some kind of tradidion of worldwide
Vernian meetings (conventions, congresses, assemblies. etc...)? If every
year would be too difficult to organize something like that, it could be
some "bienalle" or "trienalle" meetings...

And, if it's not too early to ask, do somebody (or some society) plan
anything for 100th anniversary of Verne's death, in 2005.? We'd like to
start with at least the fantasies of how it could like to gather all
Vernians all over the world in Pazin in that year...
