Bravo, Christian!
At one time I had thought of initiating a survey of the forum members, as to
the greatest and least of
Verne's titles; in fact rating them all as you have done, even though we
have to muddle through some
suspect translations. This can be a fun activity on the forum.
I too feel as you evidently do, that Survivors of the Jonathan is a vastly
underrated novel. I consider it
one of Verne's best works, even if Michel may have written most of it!
I think you will find disagreement with some of your choices, particularly
with underrating Robur and Master of the World,
and overrating Keraban.
However, all in all, I am in 90% agreement with your ratings.
