Hi Annette,

The laws of copyright basically specify that published works stay in
copyright for about 60 years. My critical edition and translation of
Journey to the Centre of the Earth was first published by OUP in 1992, but
has been regularly revised since then. The work is also available from The
Folio Society (end of July -- with an intro by Michael Crichton) and online
at Questia ( http://www.questia.com/ <http://www.questia.com/> ).

Please do tell me if you need more information.

Hi there,

As a Jules Verne enthusiast I am hoping that you are aware of the rules of
copywrite on the Verne material. Can you tell me in particular (if you know)
whether Journey to the Center of the Earth is in Public Domain?

Thanks so much,
Annette Béchamp
