phinias fogg

Can anyone tell me who Phinias Fogg was in the book Around the World in 


Eighty Days and what, if any, connection Phinias Fogg would have to the 


Crusades or religion? I need to know for a college exam tomorrow on July 5th, 


2001 and I'm desperate. I cannot find any reference to Phinias Fogg other 


than in this book. Can anyone help me with this???
