As you see, I now added the feature of showing labels, as Andrew
suggested. In the data file the place names are added as a third
'coordinate', with their alignment indicated after the '_'. The fourth
coordinate is the diameter of the dot that indicates the place.
Also, I added the option to choose the size of the map. On the largest
scale you can see that some itineraries are too course, e.g. Le Tour du
Monde, but I'll fix that by adding more data points.

That would be easy enough. Of course, it would be really neat to have an
animated gif, in which time is taken into account as well: a slower
journey goes slower in the animated gif. But this is a next step, first
I'd like to have all the journeys included.
