Hello,

I just received your site address from Zvi Har'El¹s Vernians forum. My name
is Gonzague Pichelin, I am French and I am a direct descendent of Jules
Verne. I was born in Nantes‹on Feydeau Island, just like my illustrious
ancestor. I wish to sell 12 signed and autograph Verne letters belonging to
the family heirloom. All date from late in his life, and are addressed to
his sister and nephews. Much of the correspondence deals with his failing
eyes, a cataract and a possible operation. One letter, dated 1 January 1905,
is among the last surviving letters Verne wrote before death on 24 March.

The centenary of Jules Verne¹s death is approaching, and I have decided to
sell the letters. Please accept my thanks for posting my offer on your
website.
