Garmt,
According to F2S who supply the free web space for www.verneatlas.f2s.com
the server should support PHP4 and Perl CGI as well as Frontpage extensions.
I've no experience with Perl but have no objection to giving you access to
the login and password if we get to that stage.
To everyone else:
It would be useful to have your suggestions once more for sites which could
be linked into the Verne Virtual Voyages Atlas, including your own sites for
maps, journeys, tourism, and topnymy etc which you would like to see linked
up in this project.
Rather than swamping the JVF and giving Garmt too much to read at work
(grin) I would like to invite you all to send such links direct to me via
jvs.gb~at~btinternet.com and please say which are your own sites.
Let's get the basics sorted first and see what comes of it. It will be fun
:-)
Stuart
