Dear Friends,
Michel Bélisle in Québec City is curios: Are the Jules Verne Stamp Collectors
in the Forum? Instead of me quoting information from Jean-Michel Margot's and
Ray Carter's excellent articles (see the full references in
http://JV.Gilead.org.il/stamps/), why don't you write to us what you know from
own stamp collections? Michel will have his complete list, and I can post this
joint work in my site. And should somebody care to contribute a 200 dpi scan
or two, I promise to put it in a crimson showcase to display for posterity,
with the contributor name acknowledged with many thanks. So, take the
challenge, and start by filling the blanks (i.e., question marks) in Michel's
list, and pour in the scans ;-)
BTW, The record number of messages in one month in the JVF was in 178 in
February 2000 (see
http://JV.Gilead.org.il/forum/2000/02/). Right now, just
before I mail this in, the archive for this month already has 170 messages. We
have a little more than 24 hours (Israel daylight saving time, GMT +03:00).
Can we break the record?
Best,
Zvi.

This is my Jules Verne as complete as I can stamp list. Did I forgot some
Scott numbers? By the way, did you ever have some others emails from Jules
Verne collectors? In that case, we may write each others and complete our
respective collections through your Web site.

Objet : Re: Jules Verne stamps
Hi Michel,
I apologize for the delay in answer.
I didn't forget the stamps. I simply don't have them in my collection, and
there fore I don't have scanned images if them to show. If somebody donates
the
images in 200dpi I will not wait to display them!
Thanks for taking your time to write to me,
Zvi.
