Good morning,

I am a new but brief member to this list. A few months ago, my parents condo
bldg burned down and among the lost is my father's Jules Verne Collection.
Most of the books were neither old enough to be all that valuable (as
concerns his insurance company) or recent enough to be easily replaceable.
The books were mainly purchased in the 1950's and 60's and the vast majority
were paperback. I am been trying to help him track down values and
availability which is proving difficult because some are available in recent
reprints (which he doesn't want) and some are not available at all except
through auctions. If he goes the auction route, he will need to actually bid
on each book and only after purchasing can he submit a claim. Could take a
decade. He is trying to find a compromise with the insurance company and was
wondering if there were ever a collection published that consisted of all
Verne's books? In either a one or two volume set or a boxed collection? In
addition to wanting to purchase this, he needs an easier way to submit a
price to his insurance company and is hoping this is the way to get both
accomplished.

Hope the above made sense and thank you in advance for any information.

Monica
