I want to thank everyone who sent me information and/or suggestions. As it
has turned out, my father has several books worth in the thousands and by
the time they were less then a quarter way through evaluating his entire
collection.. the insurance adjuster just gave up and will be cutting him a
cheque for the maximum his insurance allows. So my father will be able to
take his time replacing just the books he wishes to re-obtain.
Thank you again everyone and now I am off to begin on his record collection
{sigh}.
