Two men from Catalonia, Manel Vińals and Joaquim Marcoval, set out from the
Reform Club in London, on 19 August, for an 80-days' trip around the world.

According to their page "RODAMÓN"

their journey has two particularities: they avoid taking planes, and they are
using, whenever possible, the international language Esperanto. (A language
which, as it is now known, was evoked by Jules Verne in the last manuscript he
was working on before his death, "Voyage d'études".)

During their journey, Vińals and Marcoval keep a diary in Catalan, also
accessible on the site mentioned above.
