Right, Mike, Sf teaches us that there can be alternatives to our existence, especially to colonial exploitation and tyranny, and that Nemo has much to be said in his defense, although of course he has to pay the price. The trouble is that Ms. Rose-Shaffer may be using a bowdlerized version that omits Verne's anti-imperialist and other political passages. Cheers! Walter James Miller
