Today, 130 years ago, Phileas Fogg strode into the Reform Club setting a new
world record for travelling the globe. 130 years later, I have a question to
ask. That question is :

Does anyone fancy breaking the record again?

The reason I ask is that I have done some research (spurn from a question
asked online) and discovered that it is possible to travel around the world
(using only surface transport) in 60 days! (A full quarter faster than Fogg)
What I am proposing is finding a couple of plucky souls from this forum who
would like to recreate the trip in 2003 (raising funds for a charity set up
after the 9/11 attacks).

If members would like, I will quite happily post the proposed route.
