According to the Amazon.ca website, there are 2 ISBNs.
Paperback: 0819565822 (the paperback lists: "ships in 3 to 5 weeks")
Hardcover: 0819565113 (The hardcover lists: "ships in 1 to 2 weeks")

The paperback also lists: "1st Eng. edition (November 1, 2002), University Press of New England"

SO..
Jerzy Dzien, was the copy you got a paperback or a hardcover?

Thanks for your e-mail.  My copy was ordered back in May and I have not received it yet.  I guess it pays to wait sometime.  I've checked with the publisher and, of course, they're still being shipped.

Hello fellow Vernians,

Using the link shown I have now received my copy of the Mighty Orinoco today (27th) from the University of N E(Ordered in December).

Amazon still say May 2003 but if you are as impatient as me you want it as soon as possible.

I am looking forward to reading it.
