Bill,
After I finished comparing the 1910 version (using the text of
http://www.speleofr.com/bouquins/journaliste/index.html), I was told that the same version had been published on the Internet into the last weeks here (
http://jydupuis.apinc.org/vents/verne-hier.pdf). I got a real shock when I discovered many differences between those texts.
So I need your help. ¿Can you confirm any of these statements?
*There is only one version of "La journée ... en 2889".
*The correct version is at
http://jydupuis.apinc.org/vents/verne-hier.pdf.
*The version located at
http://www.speleofr.com/bouquins/journaliste/index.html is a text made up.
I should be grateful for an answer,
Regards,
Christian

Christian,
To have all four versions together will be hugely important. And your
method of aligning text by using table cells, and displaying variations
by highlighting in bold, puts many researchers (and the Canadian
Hansard, as just one example) to shame.
Hoping you can continue the good work!
Bill
