It may be of interest to Forum members that Verne was included in a recent
"top 100" list.

The aerospace trade journal, Aviation Week & Space Technology, polled
industry professionals worldwide to vote for the most important, influential
and intriguing personalities in the history of flight.

Verne was ranked number twenty on the overall list, and, in the category of
"INNOVATORS & DREAMERS", was Ranked number three for being a
"world-renowned author whose science fiction novels captured the attention
of generations".
