I'm proud to recall (as Ashley Rose reminded me at our last NAJVS powwow) that I had the pleasure of getting the publisher to cough up something for the major figures in the book's production. Something to remember for future negotiations. Just went through something similar with another Press eager to get in on our new movement: they started off with 0% royalties and finally "coughed up," to repeat an ugly turn of phrase but a relevant one. J-M brought copies of our first baby to the LOC talk on Wednesday July 23 and it was well received. A big step forward for NAJVS and the jvf. Walter James Miller
